ABOUT EVEN STRENGTH
   Even Strength is a webcomic series created, written and drawn by me, Duke Albuquerque aka the extra skater. It follows the life of Brendan Gajeiro, a semipro hockey player for the Peterboro Pelicans, a low level minor professional league, the ACHA, Atlantic Coast Hockey Association. Some pages are more focused on his hockey routine while other ones tell his struggles as a bad-paid pro athlete. So it's not only a sports webcomic series, but also a slice-of-life one. Well, you get to know more about the main characters and their universe by reading the pages. Thank you for giving a shot!  Even Strength is a work of fiction. All the characters (and their names...) and events in Even Strength are fictional and were created by the Duke Albuquerque (me). Any resemblance to reality is entirely coincidental.  |
